Sophie Bishop, a new mother from Beaver Dam, was looking to brighten up her medium brown hair. Amber Shute of Trends Salon and Spa wanted to help give Sophie a new look, making her feel great and setting her apart from the crowd.
Amber started with back-to-back foils of Schwarzkopf’s “Blond Me” to lift the hair to a light blonde. She then added a soft beige lowlight to the hair and finished the new color by cooling it down with an all-over ash-colored toner. She finished Sophie’s hair transformation by cutting off three inches, creating an inverted bob with layers.
Emily Searvogel, stylist and makeup artist at Trends, chose the “Power Hun¬gry” eyeshadow palette from the MAC makeup line and then used a liquid liner to make Sophie’s eyes pop. She applied a beige foundation to give her face a smooth finish and accented her cheeks with a soft plum-colored blush. The look was finished off with a subtle pink lip gloss from Smashbox.
