InSpring Woman Contest

At InSpire Magazine we know there are so many women out there who do many different acts of kindness, show compassion and caring for their neighbors, donate their time and talents to their community, and lend their strength and support to local organizations. Most of the time these women and their good deeds go unrecognized.

As a way to honor these area women and recognize their contributions, InSpire Magazine will host the InSpiring Women of 2012 awards event in October of 2012. We are asking our readers to help with this event by nominating women who normally would not be recognized for their actions.

Nominations will be accepted through March 31, 2012. In 200 words or less write a short summary of a woman and her accomplishments. Include the nominee's name, contact information, and the name of the person submitting the nomination. The categories are: Heart, Health and Happiness.

The nominees selected as the InSpiring Women of 2012 will be honored at the annual Evening of InSpire in October 2012 and featured on the cover of the October 2012 issue of InSpire Magazine. Awards will be presented that evening and a monetary donation will be given to the award recipient's charity of choice.

Gorgeous Garden Contest

If you have photos of your flower/herb garden please submit them for our 2012 InSpire Magazine "Gorgeous Garden Contest." Winners will receive a gift certificate to a local greenhouse!

Recent photos and photos from the past can be submitted and selected photos will be published with the gardener’s name in the Spring 2012 issue of InSpire Magazine.

1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded and winners will receive  a gift certificate to a local greenhouse! Prize winners will be selected by reader voting to take place via the InSpire Website or regular mail.

Please include a self addressed stamped envelope if you would like your photos returned.
