Thursday, February 2, at 7:30 pm: Dodge County Concert Association will host "Bottom Line Duo" at the Beaver Dam High School Auditorium, 500 Gould Street. This delightful husband-wife team plays an amazing repertoire on bass and cello, adding delightful humor to a wonderful musical evening. For more information call Rodney Binder at 920-928-3203. Thursday, February 9: Dodge County Women's Club, Get Your Heart Pumping, Join us as we kick off February as American Heart Month. You'll enjoy a night of fitness and martial arts by learning a few self defense moves and pumping up with cardio demonstration with instructors from Cho's Martial Arts. All fitness levels and ages are welcome to participate, so get ready to move! Just don't forget to grab your sneakers and some comfortable clothing! 6:30 pm through 7:00 pm registration, 7:00 pm through 8:00 pm event begins. The event is free and takes place at Beaver Dam Country Club, W8884 Sunset Drive, Beaver Dam. Friday, February 10 at 7:30 pm: Vocal Trash, combine the percussive power of STOMP with the vocal styling of The Nylons, toss in some horns, acoustic guitars, a touch of comedy, and you have, Vocal Trash. Designed to combine tight harmonies of rock ‘n' roll and oldies with the contemporary beats of “Street Instruments” they deliver a sound not soon forgotten. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 10, 11, 17 & 18 at 7:30 pm and February 19 at 2:00 pm: Columbus Red Bud Players are producing Dearly Departed by David Bottrell and Jessie Jones. Directed by Jan Levine Thal, this delightful drop-dead comedy is appropriate for all ages, though best for teens and adults. Performances held at the Columbus Senior Center, 125 N. Saturday, February 18 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, February 19 at 2:00 pm: Take Me Home, the music of John Denver, Jim Curry has created the ultimate tribute experience. Often performing with John Denver's former band members, Jim's heartfelt delivery envelopes the crowd as multi-platinum hits such as Rocky Mountain High, Annie's Song and Country Roads fill the atmosphere. Superimposed with multi-media images and videos, the show truly fills up your senses. Friday, March 2nd from 6 to 9 pm: Sweet Thanks, helping others never tasted so good! A dessert and silent auction will be held to raise money for PAVE. PAVE is a non-profit who shelters and helps abused women and children in the Dodge County area. Event takes place at the Veteran's Center, 300 Beichl Avenue, Beaver Dam.
